I hate making New Year's resolutions. They always go sideways for me, flittering away into the cosmos like a nervous laugh that lasts just long enough to be awkward. So I am determined NOT to make any this year! I will hold my wishes close and secret, and pour my courage and confidence into Maya Angelou's wisdom:
"You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have."
I don't know what or how much I will be able to accomplish this year, but I will throw my messy, dream-spangled heart into it! That much, I promise.
